Mon 25th Jan 2016 - 2:00pm Mythic Gaming Dota 2

The Dota 2 South African League was the first Dota 2 event of 2016 and it gives us great pride to say that our Dota 2 side achieved a 3rd place finish in their debut tournament under the Mythic Gaming Brand!

Eight teams competed in the first Dota 2 South African League which featured a R4 000 winner takes all prize pool. The final four placings are summarised below:

1. White Rabbit Gaming (NewB)
2. Piglets
3. Mythic Gaming
4. Feeders Stay United

Congratulations to WRG.NewB on their first place finish and to Piglets who placed second. We look forward to our next encounter!

Dota 2 Vice- Captain Timothy "Kuhnchun" Kuhn had the following to say about the team's performance and their thoughts going into preparing for their next tournament, the Hades Leaguein Febraury.

"Overall our team performance wasn't too bad - despite Andrew "Andreezy" Hung (a major carry player in the team) being overseas. The tournament highlighted that our communication and synergy is still not at the level we would like it to be - which is expected from newly formed teams. This is something that we will be working on over the course of the next few weeks.

Andrew, our carry player, unfortunately will not be back from Taiwain in time, however, this gives us a great opportunity to start synergising with our new sub, Stickalish. Our goals for the hades league would be to top our group and place within the top 6."
