Nicholas Kuhn, Owner and CEO of Mythic Gaming, had the following to say about the team's debut:
"I'm quite excited for our DOTA 2 team to start the year off so early in the season. It's a great opportunity for the revamped roster to start synergising and we are very fortunate that we have some heavyweights in the tournament (WRG.NewB and Energy eSports) which will provide the team with great experience and highlight areas that need to be worked on.
The continued investment in South African E-Sports allows for our rapidly growing scene to continue in the right direction. With the new leagues and the recurring leagues / tournaments there are ample opportunities for teams to really grind out the hours and improve both their individual play and team work; which is exactly what our DOTA 2 squad will be doing in the 2016 season. I look forward to embarking on this journey with them.
Finally, I would like to thank Mikaeel Mohammed for hosting this tournament and I wish him, and his organisation, the best of luck for the future."
On behalf of Mythic Gaming, it's staff and players, we would like to wish all the participants the best of luck over the weekend!
Mythic Gaming would like this opportunity to once again thank everyone involved. Please follow the Mythic Gaming Facebook page, our Twitter handle and our Instagram account for regular updates and information based on our progress.
